Offshore development - Onsite Execution (Hybrid Model)
This model has the advantages of cost reduction through offshore development and reduced cycle time due to activities being completed onsite. Typical offshore activities include low-level design, high-level coding, testing and porting. Systems analysis, high level design and final implementation are typically completed onsite. Depending on parameters such as volume, complexities and involvement of the customer, the combination of onsite and offshore resources are defined.
